About Me
As a child of an artist, it was as if I was destined to draw. My childhood consisted of art, crafts, and creative activities. My passion for art combined with my love for animals eventually flourished into animal portraits. Through my art, I am able to draw pieces for people to commemorate their companions.
I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, with a lifelong love for animals. Everything changed when I was five and met my first muse: the horse. That moment sparked a passion for the animal. After receiving a drawing book as a gift, I created my first horse portrait, and soon, with encouragement from my parents, began taking commissions. After moving to Oxford, Mississippi in 2021, my work expanded from the barn to the household, and I began creating portraits of pets beyond the equestrian world. Today, my work is most often inspired by dogs, thanks to the growing support of pet lovers.
Now, as a student at Auburn University on a pre-vet track, I’m continuing to follow my passion for animals in both art and science. Whether through a pencil or a stethoscope, my goal has always been the same: to celebrate the bond between people and the animals they love.
